Since signing his first record deal at aged 15yrs old, Rufus has worked extensively for the past 41 years as a professional singer and actor. Having notched up 32 television ‘pop slots’ including 8 x Top of the Pops (BBC), Rufus has performed live ‘gigs’ in numerous prestigious venues around the world from Wembley arena (18 concerts), to the QE2.

His acting skills have been seen by millions of people, having been given many parts in television, film and stage.

In recent years Rufus has been studying a BA Hons Degree in Film, Photography and Media at the University of Leeds as well as channelling his creative flare into writing short and long-form LGBTQ+ Screenplays and Continuous Drama.
